Need a hand, found a bug, or have a suggestion? We read every message.
We aim to reply within a few days. Including your device model and iOS version helps us track down anything tricky.
Each turn you do one thing: pick one of your pastel orbs and either clone it to a neighbouring hex (your orb stays put and a new one appears) or jump it two hexes across the board (the orb relocates). Wherever you land, every enemy orb touching that hex is assimilated — flipped to your colour. Fill the board with your colour to win. There’s a short tutorial at the start, and a gentle difficulty curve across the 40 levels.
Progress is saved on your device only — there’s no account and nothing syncs to a server. That keeps the game fully offline and private, but it also means progress doesn’t transfer between devices, and uninstalling the app clears it. We can’t restore lost progress, as we never receive a copy of it.
When you set a high score you can submit it to a global leaderboard with three letters of your choosing (A–Z). It’s completely anonymous — just initials and a score, with no account or personal details attached. Submitting is always optional. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what’s stored.
You start a run with three lives. Losing a level costs a life; running out ends the run. Depending on the difficulty you can use a limited number of continues to carry on. Easy is forgiving, Normal keeps you honest, and Hard gives no quarter.
Check that your phone isn’t in silent mode and that the volume is up. The game also has Music and SFX toggles on the title screen — make sure they’re on. If audio still doesn’t play, fully close and reopen the app, and email us your device model and iOS version if it persists.
Assimilax is free for a limited time. No ads, no in-app purchases, and no account — just the whole game, offline.
Not yet — Assimilax is currently single-player against the AI. Online play is on the wish list for a future update.
